Philips Norelco AT830 is one of my personal favourite electric shaver. It was released back in 2012 and still have so much hype in the market. It is actually a mid-range electric shaver and very good for new users. If you are a fond of Rotary shavers and you are on low budget, it might be a best choice.
Philips Norelco AT830 is mid-range, powerful and affordable Rotary shaver. It is a Wet&Dry Electric shaver, and will cost almost nothing compared to the value it’ll provide. That is something really good about this shaver. The head of this shaver is great and pivot in any direction on your face to provide you clean, smooth and close shave.

AquaTec Wet&Dry Electric Shaver
First of all it is a Wet&Dry Electric shaver. That means you can either use this shaver with shaving gel to get smooth skin before shave or you can use this shaver on dry skin for your comfort. It means the shaver is waterproof, so you can use this shaver under shower as well. The presence of Wet&Dry technology in a branded rotary shaver which is available in the market, is something really impressive.
DualPrecision Technology
DualPrecision Shaving head, tackle the long hairs and short stubbles to get you the closest possible shave. Head of this shaver can pivot in any direction on your face which follows the many contours of your face to catch most of the hairs. It really makes it easy to shave neck and chin.
Integrated Trimmer
The shaver have an integrated trimmer, which can be popup by the user. It is really perfect for sideburns and moustache. Of course that is not a perfect trimmer out there in the market but it feels really great when you can get that much under such short amount.
Lithium-ion rechargeable battery
The shaver takes about 1 hour to get fully charge and provides up to 50 minutes of shaving. In that much time you can get 10 shaves. So it can be really helpful for travel purposes. And also it have a quick charge feature, which means you can charge it for 3 minutes to get a single complete shave.
Comparison of the AT830 with the previous model AT810
Both of these models AT830 and AT810 (Check here) are pretty much same. You can find the Wet&Dry technology in both models. The battery is same, both have integrated trimmers and both have DualPrecision technology. But when we talk about the shaver’s head, the shaving head on the AT810 is totally stationary. It doesn’t pivot on your skin, not really good to get a complete close shaver however the head on the AT830 can pivot on your skin while rotating which is really comfortable.
So just a few extra bucks in AT830 can save you with lot of mess you will face with AT810. I prefer to buy the Norelco AT830.
Is this shaver good for sensitive skin?
Yes it is actually very good on sensitive skins. Rotary shavers were actually introduced for those who have sensitive skin. So no doubt it can provide you an efficient and smooth shaving experience. I have found some reviews amazon and people claiming that found this shaver to be best on their aged skin.

My Shaver Guide verdict on Philips Norelco AT830
Norelco AT830 is really great in performance and value for money. This razor is very smooth on the skin that I have ever experienced. If you are looking for a rotary shaver and want to get all from it, go for this one. It will not disappoint you.
