The main difference between both of these models is that the Arc 5 contains 5-Blade cutting system whereas the Arc 4 contains 4-Blades cutting system. But that single extra blade is going to cost you some significant amount of money on Arc 5, which may not be worthy if you don’t have a very thick beard. Even this model of Panasonic is good for thick reviews, I recommend you to read the reviews from original buyers on both of these models.
There are some more features other than that which are handy and make the Arc 5 much more expensive than Arc 4. Some of those features are:

- It looks more premium and there are Sleeker lines on it which makes it attractive.

Well let me tell you one thing, you can still save plenty of money if you don’t want that cleaning and charging dock. You can go for Panasonic ES-LA63-S Arc 4, which is exactly the same model but that will not come with Cleaning dock.

The Arc 4 provides the best close shaving unless you have a thick beard. If you got a thick beard, I still recommend you to have a look at other foil shavers since rotary shavers are not good for thick beards. I prefer Panasonic Arc 5 or Braun Series 9. However you can still get the close shave, even for your thick beard but you have to shave twice with this shaver. This shaver contains the world’s faster motor, which can cut the smallest part of the hair to get you the most close shave. It helps you to archive the fast and efficient shaving experience.

Panasonic ES-LA93-K is one of the best Electric shaver out there in the market. But I don’t like the cleaning dock that comes with this shaver. It is too noisy and not a good cleaner out there in the market. I prefer to clean my shaver manually. So I still recommend you to save some more bucks and go for Panasonic ES-LA63-S which is exactly the same thing as this model but comes without cleaning doc.
