Panasonic ES-LA63-S Arc 4 is as same as the previous Panasonic ES-LA93-K. All of the features are same, the only difference between both of these models is the absence of Automatic Cleaning dock in LA63-S. But there is a good news for you, if you want to buy an Arc 4 shaver from Panasonic, then I recommend you to save some bucks and go for this one. Why? I will explain it later in this review.
ES-LA63-S is one of the most sold high-end electric shaver from Panasonic. It is very affordable when it comes to price, and definitely a good choice if you want to get a perfect close shaving experience and wants to save a few bucks.

Difference between ES-LA63-S and ES-LA93-K
As I mentioned above the only difference between LA63-S and LA93-K is the absence of cleaning dock in LA63-S. Well I personally don’t like that cleaning dock because of the noise that make and also that’s not the best cleaning dock in the market.
The shaver have all of the features which you can find in LA93-K. So why you want to spend extra bucks to buy the same thing but with Detergent Cartridge cleaning system? You can clean this shaver manually, that will hardly take 5 minutes.

Things I like in Panasonic ES-LA63-S Arc 4
- The shaver is very comfortable, however it can’t compete the comfortability of Braun Electric shavers but it is not going to irritate your skin at all. The comfortability you can get in this price is definitely worth it. If you have a sensitive skin, it would be a great choice.
- The head of this shaver can pivot at 360 degree which really makes it easy to cover the hard areas such as neck and chin.
- In a single full charge, it can provide up to 45 minutes of shaving. In that much time, we can cover 10 shaves. To charge it fully, it will take about 1 hour.
My Shaver Guide verdict on ES-LA63-S Arc 4
It is same like the previous ES-LA93-K, but it can save you a few more bucks. So I personally recommend you to go with this one since I didn’t like the cleaning dock that comes with the LA93-K.
It provides close shaving, very smooth on skin and wet/dry shaver. So you can either use it with gel to get a germ free smooth shaving or on your dry skin. I personally like this shaver a lot. Very good for travelling, it provides up to 10-12 shaves in a single full charge. So if you are going on a short tour, you can take it without charging dock. Also it comes with a Travel Pouch.
